Message	the shop, but they were a reputable, machine shop that specialized in race engines. They refused to bore out any VG30DETT engines because they said the tolerances were already optimized, and they were of the opinion that it would lead to premature failure. Not saying I agree with their viewpoint as I'm pretty ignorant on the subject, but I figured if a shop was turning away business then there might be something to it.
